US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner revealed today that the government intends to close the $700 billion financial bailout program when he told the Senate Agriculture Committee that plans to “wind down this program” are in the works.
“Nothing would make me happier,” he told the Senate Agriculture Committee.
