Canada Sees 0.7% Increase in Wholesale Trade

Canada realized a 0.7 percent increase in wholesale business in December spurred by a greater demand for machinery, building supplies, automotive products, and agricultural supplies. The increase beat the earlier estimate of a 0.5 percent increase, providing further evidence that the Canadian economy is on-track for continued growth in 2010.
